One Month Internship
(May, 2025)

Booksthakam Foundation is proud to announce a one-month internship program, in collaboration with the Trivandrum Collectorate and the Scheduled Tribal Development Department, designed for students in Trivandrum who are passionate about making a meaningful social impact. This internship is unlike any other, as we embark on a historic initiative to support all 34 Community Learning Centers (CLCs) located in tribal areas across the Trivandrum District.

This is your opportunity to be one of the 34 selected interns, each of whom will be responsible for dedicating their efforts to 34 CLCs, contributing directly to the educational upliftment of tribal communities.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

🔍 Community Learning Centers (Samuhyapadanamuri)
As an intern, you will be at the forefront of a transformative journey, visiting the 34 CLCs in the tribal areas of Trivandrum District. Your mission will be to assess the educational needs of the students in these communities and generate insightful reports that will guide future resources and support from Booksthakam Foundation. You’ll also be engaging the students in interactive sessions such as:

  • Career orientation and guidance to help them envision their future.
     

  • Creative activities, games, and workshops to inspire learning and self-expression.
     

By working hands-on in these centers, you’ll play an instrumental role in shaping the educational experience of underprivileged students.

📚 Publishing Potential:
One of the most exciting aspects of this internship is the chance to discover hidden talents within these communities. Your role will include identifying students who show promise in writing and creative expression, connecting them to our Booksthakam Publishing initiatives. This is an opportunity to help talented individuals bring their stories, thoughts, and voices to the world. Through this, you’ll not only be impacting the students' lives but also helping create new narratives from underrepresented communities.
