About the book:

About the author:
Arya Sathyan is a poet and writer from Kerala, India, and a recent graduate in English Language and Literature from Mar Ivanios College. Her distinctive voice blends Romantic sensibilities with contemporary confessional poetry.
Her journey began at the age of sixteen when she encountered the works of John Keats, Pablo Neruda, and Robert Frost. Among them, Keats’ Endymion profoundly shaped her artistic vision—especially the line, “A thing of beauty is a joy for ever,” which became a guiding philosophy in her writing.
Her early poetry explored existential and metaphysical themes—questions of life, death, and the unknown. Over time, her voice evolved inward, embracing confessional poetry inspired by writers like Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton.
In her work, Arya explores love, loss, desire, identity, memory, and emotional vulnerability with striking honesty. Her poetry is tender yet vivid, unafraid of sensual imagery, emotional depth, or spiritual inquiry.
In a world filled with noise, her writing offers stillness—a space for reflection, feeling, and connection. Through her poems, she shares not just words, but fragments of her inner world—raw, honest, and beautifully rendered.
